                    Class of 2021
                    Major: Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
                    Hometown: Silver Spring, MD
                    High School: Montgomery Blair HS

What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?
I wanted to have the experience of going to a big school (sports games, lots of choices for clubs and classes).

Best Experience with a Class or Project
It was really interesting designing a method to promote plant growth using fungal biofilms in BIOE120.

                    Favorite Class
                    CHBE457: Polymers in Biomedical Devices

                    Involvements/Extracurricular Activities
Outside of classes, I enjoy Intramural Sports (Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball) and lab research.

                    Favorite On-Campus Event
My favorite on-campus event is Maryland Day!

                    Research/Study Abroad Experience
I have worked on making safer and more energy dense batteries in the Functional Macromolecular lab. I also got to visit the Army Research Lab (a collaborator) and tour their facilities.

                    Cool Engineering Experience
It was cool watching my team's rover actually navigate to the destination site autonomously in ENES100.
